One small lane, every cuisine

Culture Box was born from a simple idea: in a city where Moroccan food is already wonderful, offer the rest as well — a homemade pizza, a mild curry, a camel burger — without ever leaving the Medina.
The house claims an “all homemade and fresh” kitchen: tagines and couscous beside pasta and salads, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free versions of nearly everything. It is one of the few restaurants in Fès with a dedicated gluten-free menu — celiac travellers name it as a safe stop.
The room carries Fès on its walls: ceramic plates, carved wooden doors, plants. The team speaks several languages and the menu is printed in three — while guests come from everywhere: 4.8/5 on Tripadvisor (385 reviews, Travelers’ Choice 2025) and 4.7/5 on Google (1,352 reviews).
